Ajgaibinath Temple, also known as Ajgaivinath Dham or Gaibinath Mahadeo, is a prominent Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This location is also associated with a significant mythological tale involving Muni Jahnu and the river Ganges, where Muni Jahnu swallowed the river and later released it through an incision on his thigh, leading to the river being named Jahnavi.

Another legend associated with the temple is that Lord Shiva is believed to have resided here for some time during his visit to the Amarnath cave, further enhancing the temple's religious significance.
